Sacramento Valley Veterans (SVV) meet at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of the month
at the Lavender Library (1414 21st Street) in Midtown Sacramento

NEXT MEETING: JUNE 20

SVV will be holding elections for board positions in July 2011. All board positions will be open for election. The general requirement for election to a board position is to have a good standing with American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER) for one year. Basically, in order to run for a board position, you have to be a member in good standing with AVER.

Find out how you can become a member here.

Are you interested in getting involved with this year's Pride festivities?

Join up with SVV as take part in the parade, the opening ceremony, and the festival!

We are looking for motivated and dedicated individuals to help us put our best foot forward as we carry our flags in the parade AND present the Colors in the opening ceremony! We need a total of 10 volunteers to help us make this happen and interested folks need to be committed to helping us make this year's Pride one to be remembered.

If you are interested, send an e-mail to info@sacvalleyvets.com.
